FAQ
Do you still have questions about the ice bath starter?
How easy is it to set up?
Assembly is very simple and can be completed in a few minutes. Unfold the pool, slide in the support legs, inflate the air rings with the included pump and screw on the two taps - that's it, all you have to do is fill the pool with water.
The easiest way to do this is with a garden hose (there are also adapters for indoor taps). Optionally, you can use our water filter with Gardena connection for refilling.
How do I fill the ice bath?

We recommend filling the ice bath to approx. 2/3 full so that the water does not spill over when bathing. Ideally, your shoulders should be under water (the brown fat mainly forms in the neck and upper back area). Fill up as required.
Tip: less water also requires less ice or energy (with a chiller) to keep the water cool.
Can the ice bath be used outdoors?
Yes of course, our ice baths have been developed for this purpose.
We recommend a level surface without sharp objects for the location.
In sub-zero temperatures, we recommend removing the formed ice regularly so that the ice bath does not freeze over completely. Otherwise it can be used in winter without hesitation.
How do I keep the water clean?
Hygiene is the be-all and end-all. We recommend showering before an ice bath.
To prevent dirt or other unwanted foreign bodies from getting into the ice bath, it is advisable to always use the lid.
In warmer temperatures, it is necessary to change the water more frequently than in winter. We recommend changing the water every one to two weeks.
In winter, however, the water can remain in the ice bath for several weeks without any problems, as fewer bacteria develop in the water in cold temperatures than in warmer conditions.
A chiller with water pump, filter and disinfection contributes significantly to the water quality and extends the interval between water changes.
When changing the water, we recommend cleaning the inside surfaces with mild soapy water and a soft brush or sponge. This will help to prolong the life of your ice bath.
To keep the water quality clean for even longer, we are working with a manufacturer on a chlorine-free care product that is specially developed for ice baths. Contact us for more information or to be put on the waiting list.
How do I keep the water cold?
The ice bath is equipped with heat-insulating TPE layers and a thermo lid to maintain the water temperature for longer.
It is generally advisable to set up the ice bath in a cool and shady place.
Optionally, ice (ice cubes, frozen PET bottles/other containers) can be added or a chiller can be used.
How often do I have to change the water?
In warmer temperatures, the water needs to be changed more frequently than in winter. We recommend changing the water every one to two weeks.

How do I change the water?
There are various ways to change the water. Here are some suggestions (depending on your location):
- Fit a drain hose to the tap and drain the water this way. Empty the rest via the plug at the bottom or tip out the basin.
- Use a submersible pump to pump the water to a preferred location. Make sure that it is flat suction (e.g. Kärcher SP 9.000 Flat).
